    Be aware, this does not work with all warrior winches like I thought. It is not the right pin configuration for my warrior 20k winch. I rewired the plug and was excited to get it working but am disappointed with the range of the remote. It starts cutting in and out if your anymore that 15ft from the winch. Not worth the price tag in my opinion vs other options.

We would have swapped it immediately for you but by wiring it yourself it may have had a detrimental effect on the range of the wireless capability.     The unit is not compatible with my system. However, when I bought it it was intended to be just a replacement remote and as far as that goes I had zero problem syncing the new remote to my current system. It took less than 5 minutes to pair the new remote.

    My suggestion would be to pick a prong pattern (for winch remotes/plug and play units) and stick to that with all future products.
    Simplicity in ordering or replacing parts would be a factor in buying a product for me.

    Thank you for your review, we have a number of plug and play and remote transmitters wired in to the solenoid. I guess it is down to preference and simplicity of use.

    Easy to use. Literally plug the receiver where the corded controller goes, push the on button for 3-5 seconds to pair it and it's ready! Looking forward to being able to sit in the car to stear it out of the trailer if need be and use the brake if needed as I run the winch with the remote. Haven't tried it that way yet so more on that later. It seemed to work well in both directions in my shop.

    It was difficult from the website finding which exact one I needed for the winch I have. I ended up ordering the 4-pin which seemed to match vs the other option that had a different number of pins. When it arrive I found that the 4 pins didn't match the pattern of my winch, one was square and one was a half-moon pattern. I busted apart the plastic pin end of the wireless controller to wire it directly. The instructions had a list of wire colors etc.. so I was just going to wire it directly. The color of the wires in the controller didn't match the colors the schematic said it had, and they didn't match the color of the wire inside my winch. Fortunately it was only like 1 wire out of 4 that didn't match so I made some assumptions and plugged the pins directly into the winch, electrical taped it all up and it works great.

    This product is great . It operates the winch with a positive selection from the control . Range is excellent .
    In fact it could not be any better . Small reciever box can be fitted on top of Ninja emblem with 3 ty-wraps .

    I started with the hard wired standard set up - found it difficult to guide what was being winched from where the control cable ended - fitted the remote instead - Eureka - total flexibility of where you are relative to the pulled load. Great kit !
