  • in the user manual the wires are red, black, white and yello but on the reciever i bought the wires are red, black, green and brown

  • Have you got a wireless winch remote with a three pin connector? or do they have a adaptor to plug a 4 pin into a 3 pin? thanks

    All our plug and play units are 4 pin at the moment. 

    We do have a number of wireless control with hard wired receievers available, super simple to install with a manual to walk you through every step of the way.

Be aware, this does not work with all warrior winches like I thought. It is not the right pin configuration for my warrior 20k winch. I rewired the plug and was excited to get it working but am disappointed with the range of the remote. It starts cutting in and out if your anymore that 15ft from the winch. Not worth the price tag in my opinion vs other options.

We would have swapped it immediately for you but by wiring it yourself it may have had a detrimental effect on the range of the wireless capability. The unit is not compatible with my system. However, when I bought it it was intended to be just a replacement remote and as far as that goes I had zero problem syncing the new remote to my current system. It took less than 5 minutes to pair the new remote.

My suggestion would be to pick a prong pattern (for winch remotes/plug and play units) and stick to that with all future products.
Simplicity in ordering or replacing parts would be a factor in buying a product for me.

Thank you for your review, we have a number of plug and play and remote transmitters wired in to the solenoid. I guess it is down to preference and simplicity of use.

Easy to use. Literally plug the receiver where the corded controller goes, push the on button for 3-5 seconds to pair it and it's ready! Looking forward to being able to sit in the car to stear it out of the trailer if need be and use the brake if needed as I run the winch with the remote. Haven't tried it that way yet so more on that later. It seemed to work well in both directions in my shop.
